WordPress 3.1

I have just updated my wordpress blog to the latest version of wordpress which is now WordPress 3.1. WordPress is the best blogging application there is in the blogosphere with thousands of standalone plugins which just make the blogging experience…

easy and more lovely.

WordPress has taken a new shape and continues to set the standard in blogging applications by increasing its functional and efficiency in ways that the other rivals just struggle to keep up. What puts a time bomb on the demise of the other blogging applications is that the entire WordPress blogging suite is FREE offering features that can never be found on any blogging system.
Now, if you are a designer/developer then you probably have made your hands dirty with WordPress core code (the CODEX system) which enables you customize your WordPress implementation even further. WordPress now is the only blogging system that is used even to build normal websites, landing pages, membership sites and so on and so forth. The following are just a few of the themes custom designed for a wordpress installation. Every minute that I continue using this new version of WordPress 3.1 I am amazed, inserting links is now even breezier and just takes you two clicks and at most two seconds.

On the blog front end at the top there is a tool bar quite similar to the one on blogger, but this one is more advanced it allows you to edit your profile, create a post or a new page, change the appearance and even manage your comments. You can also be notified of new updates and search through your blog.

Now the essence of this post is to get you to build your own blog using wordpress and you will just love it, besides there are pro-bloggers who use blogs to make tones of cash and don’t have to work a regular job. You can take a look at Darren Rowse’s blog the Pro-Blogger.

Update

I have been using the new WordPress 3.1 for exactly 29 days, reaching tomorrow it will be a month.  WordPress 3.1 is a great version and an improvement I am really impressed with is the Wordrpess 3.1 Menus. All the other improvements are great but the Menus beats them all.

I was browsing through the web and I came across Jason Bobich’s post on WordPress 3 Menus. I am not going to re do what has been done and I believe the the following video tutorial from his website will guide you through using WordPress 3 Menus.
